Farewell old faithful...

When I bought this little tub of slide grease, my horn teacher said, 'It'll last you a lifetime". and too many decades that I care to remember later, it is indeed still going strong, though sadly new improvements have superseded it.
After getting a bit of work done on my horn I bought some shiny bottles of horn stuff including a new synthetic gel slide grease.
So it's farewell to the half finished pot of boiled up animal fat and hello to the all new singing and dancing bottle of gel for easy glide, but non slip slides. Wow life doesn't get much better this folks, let me tell you... ;)
