Smith Rock State Park, Oregon Early Morning

We spent the morning hiking at Smith Rock State Park. The location is so photogenic that choosing an image from this morning for today's blip is difficult. I struggle to properly show the awesome scale of the scenery in a photograph. The 8-14 blip is my previous effort to capture the wonder of this most amazing place.

I like this blip for the "balanced" rock in the center and for the two hikers that are so tiny on the trail under the pine trees in the lower right corner . This photo does some justice to the grandeur of Smith Rock scenery, but not nearly enough.
