Jose Cuervo Hermosa Beach Open

Even though we have been to a couple of Kelsey's volleyball matches, I have resisted posting photos from those matches. Today, however, we drove up to Hermosa Beach for the last of the Joe Cuervo Pro Beach Opens. The weather was far from Southern California like, cloudy and quite cool, but the volleyball was as good as the other tournaments we have attended. This shot shows Mark Williams hitting against the big block of Matt Fuerbringer in the quarter-finals of the winners bracket. Fuerbringer and his partner Nick Lucena prevailed and will play first thing tomorrow. I myself will be on a different beach playing a the same game in a very different manner.
