Muscadine Grape

Muscadine Festival North Carolina is the home of our nation's
first cultivated grape.
The earliest written account of the "White Grape" occurs
in Giovanni de Verrazzano's logbook in 1524 while exploring the Cape
Fear River Valley.

The typical muscadine wine is sweet because vintners traditionally add sugar during the winemaking process; the wine is often considered a dessert wine although some drier varieties exist.

VERY SWEET WINE but it claims potential health benefits.
