Seville
Travelled east to the great Spanish city and Andalucian capital, Seville. Took 2 and half hours - or 3 and a half if you include the time zone shift one hour forward (!). As we had moved in land, the temperature was also even hotter - we spotted a 39 degrees reading in late afternoon. We booked an apartment in Santa Cruz, the city's historical old quarter which was great - but not before nearly getting lost driving through the sometimes uncomfortably narrow winding streets as we tried to find our accommodation for the night. We then walked out to this beautiful city and had dinner not far from the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See (aka Seville Cathedral - the largest Gothic cathedral and third-largest church in the world), pictured here.
