Culcha

So, tonight we went with our very good friends to get a spot of culcha - they'd got us tickets to see Evita! at the Hippo.

Not much to say about it, apart from the fact that it was great. The set was very good; simple but clever. The performers were very good, the orchestra were ace, the lighting was very good indeed.

I think the thing that I like most about Evita! is that it has a real story, and isnt' just a bunch of songs hung around a thin plot. There's more story than can be told in an evening.

Luckily, Mrs BH liked it almost more than me, so this may mean that we get to go and see more musical theatre in the future, which can only be a good thing.
