Not a quitter!

On a muddy, mucky cross-country course, he lost his shoe before the first mile marker, and ran the remaining two-plus miles in his socks, carrying the shoe with the computer chip that would record his time at the finish line. That's what I call determination! Never-say-quit!

Weather report: After a rainy day yesterday, today started off cold and cloud-covered, threatening rain at any minute. Near noon, the clouds faded away and the sun came out. The afternoon was beautiful, but that didn't do anything to dry out the cross-country course for the morning run.
