Berwickshire

I had a wonderful meander around Berwickshire today in warm sunshine and surprisingly quiet roads.

I was going to visit my friend who lives 2 miles from Berwick-upon-Tweed on the Scottish side. To get there I chose all the back roads and was able to just stop in the middle of the road, point and shoot! The land rolls on and on and just over the furthest away hills is the North Sea.

I had such a laugh with the family and enjoyed a lovely supper before my first night drive in a very long time!! Lucky me - such good friends.
