A Day In The Life

I usually do the Digital Photography School Weekly Challenge for Foto Friday in my blog, but, as yesterday was a special Blipday (and many thanks for all the lovely comments on my 500th, you're all very kind!) it got postponed until today.

This week's theme was "A Day In The Life" and today has been a busy one for me and I'm very grateful to Mr Sunshine for showing his face throughout! :)

My day included a trip into Ely to visit the farmers market where my friend has her wheat & dairy free cake stall. I also made a purchase of goat meat but I'm too tired to cook a proper dinner so that will get a taste test tomorrow.

After lunch I took my mum to the Pumpkin Fair in Soham where we had a look at a few stalls, some morris dancers and some unfeasibly large vegetables. We also saw a couple with one of each colour labrador, I felt my heart pang with desire for a puppy!

Then we went over to my parents' building plot to see how that's coming along and Stella decided to drop her ball between some bricks and under the newly laid out foundations! My brother & cousin came to her rescue with a pokey stick and a rake and all was well :)
