Canalfest 2011 Forth and Clyde canal

Took a walk along the Auchinstarry Basin tonight. A flotilla of around 80 boats had arrived there before their onward journey tomorrow to the Falkirk Wheel. It was a colourful sight and many people were there enjoying the atmosphere.

Hope you all enjoyed the sunshine today. We even managed some gardening and planted some Spring bulbs.

Euan went to his first party today! It was his wee cousin's birthday so I am looking forward to hearing all about it! Talking about birthdays it is my dear friend Cath's today. She is a great girl and has been a wonderful friend to me. Happy Birthday, Cath. See you tomorrow for some birthday cake!
