Jungle Muffins!!!

I've made blueberry muffins for the last 3 Saturday mornings, and though they were delicious, they always looked pitiful. This morning I found myself with 2 quickly-browning bananas and decided to find a banana muffin recipe instead. I went with this one, minus the nutella step (though I'm sure that's a yummy addition). Not only are they tasty, but they look good too, so I FINALLY got to blip a picture of something I baked!

It's also a ridiculously gorgeous day outside and I couldn't decide if I should skip the muffins in favor of an outdoors shot. I decided to compromise by letting the muffins cool in a sunbeam by a window, and snapping a macro muffin shot with the brilliant greens and blues and bursts of sunlight blurred in the background. Ah.

I'm mostly going to be cleaning up today, as my parents are coming by after they leave the Tech game (go Jackets!) to set up my new bed frame and pick up some odds and ends I want to donate. Then we'll probably grab dinner and check out the new froyo place. Not a terribly exciting Saturday evening, but my main goal is to get some good parental advice on the career front (and a free meal, natch).
