Bob's Poppies

Despite the dreadful weather forecast, of course the BBC got it wrong.

Bob came to school in the afternoon and took Dimairt up to the Fairy Lochs. It is wonderful that Dimairt gets this walk every Friday. We always meet back at Bob's for a wee "bijou drinkette" - as my drama teacher friend Richard calls it.......

I was a bit early at Bob's, and took the opportunity to take some shots in the garden.

Since Diana died, Bob has concentrated on vegetables, and has really left the flowers to get on with it by themselves. It has worked.

The borders would give an English Country Garden a run for its money - so full of things like poppies, cornflowers, solomon's seal, primroses, aquilegieas etc.

Of all the shots I took, I like this one, surprisingly. A bit of a Cadbury's Flake moment, I know. (without the sexy woman and her pouting mouth........)
