Fishing piers... somewhere in France

To be honest, I can't remember exactly where this place was. It was somewhere on the coast between La Rochelle and the north of France. We'd been driving for hours and decided that it was about time we went to see the sea. A small detour took us along a small dirt track that ended on the coast with a long line of piers with fishing nets at the end. Any ideas what they'd be catching?

I've just realised my percentage of sunset photos is quite high. This will definitely be my last one on here for a while. It always seems like a nice easy option. Who doesn't like red skies and silhouettes?
