Remembrance

Macro shot of my grandmothers brooch. This weekend I have project to photograph/document my grand parents (mainly grandmother) history. This is one of her brooches and on the reverse side it has a photo of my grandfather. The level of detail in this twisted metal and chain is really amazing. This is magnified at almost 2x (love the macro lens).

This detailed photography is harder than it looks, jewellery, trinkets, photos, hand crochered dollies, etc. Hard but important and kind of fun.
