Battle for Chattanooga

When I was a child, I used to think of this area as a very large chessboard. I could remember thinking that, but I couldn't really place where I got the idea until I went to Bragg Reservation on the top of Missionary Ridge today. We're covered up in cannons and soldiers. We're a giant Civil War chess set.
