Equinox

When the light and dark are evenly balanced.

Every day I take the dog for a walk at the same time. But now by the time we make it round the park, it's really quite dark. The Fall colors are really showing now - the sugar maples are aflame with orange, ivy has turned burgundy, prairie grasses are stripes of yellow, pink, and red, the aspen are yellow. And yet many trees are entirely green still.
