Kind Hearts

Today was our school wide jog a thon. Those kids ran their tooshies off in the heat. I think it hit at least 87 degrees today. They all ran hard as they knew it was for a good cause, a new playstructure.

I took about 400 pictures today, many of which I was really happy with. It was one of those days where the lighting was perfect and everyone was having so much fun that you loved photographing everything and everyone. But in the end I couldn't get past this photo. These are two of our teachers carrying a kindergarten boy who is normally wheel chair ridden. They literally carried him around the course for several laps so he could participate and be with the rest of his class. Look at the smile on his face and the joy in his eyes. It choked me up watching them make their laps around.
