H4PI BIRFD4Y JEANNE AKA "Best day ever"

Wonderful day today, Jeanne's (early) birthday party. Nana and I took the girls and four of Jeanne's friends to a Pamper and Pose Party. It was brilliant and all of them had an absolute ball.

Jeanne was really relaxed and was posing like a proper little model. The girls got to have some really lovely make up put on and the photos were stunning - all credit goes to the Pamper and Pose team

Then it was back home for a bit of party food and some tunes on the iPad.

So chuffed that Jeanne's birthday weekend started off so well. She had an afternoon I hope she will remember all her life.

Just popped them into bed and she said "That was the best day ever" and I even got a hug from her tonight which brought a little lump to my throat. Jeanne doesn't do hugs or kisses. On Wednesdays (when I don't see them for a night) in the school yard I know she won't give me a kiss but she will give me a really good squeeze of my hand or pinch of my waist - which sounds Bizarre but it works for us and means the same as the big bear hug I get off Evie!

So blip is the party food before six little girls got at it - I quite like this photo..because the mirror shows the mess that was going on alongside the lovely twee cake stand n buns niceness!

Special day for Evie too - her wobbly tooth fell out (so Tooth Fairy duty tonight) and she developed a love of Michael Jackson! In particular Smooth Criminal. So I showed her the video on YouTube and the Jacko 'Lean' then attempted to recreate it in my kitchen in my super high heels. I won't lie to you dear reader- it wasn't *that* bad an attempt on my part!
