Coast

Last night I realised that Lukas has never been to a beach. Slovakia is landlocked and he's never been out of the country before. So after school we headed to Balmedie, the weather was ace. His face when he reached the top of the dunes and saw the sea was a sight to behold. Genuine surprise, awe, joy. Just fantastic. He didn't want to leave and it was 9pm before we got home, by which time we were all cold and starving, so we treated him to another first. A jumbo sausage supper. Lucky boy!
