Brightening up the balcony

I've spent most of the summer trying to convince my mum that we should plant herbs in one of the big plant pots on the balcony, to add to the basil, parsley and chives that we keep in the kitchen.

She planted pansies in all the plant pots today.

So I guess that would be a no to the herb idea then.

Never mind, at least the pansies are pretty colours.
