Productive day

Today has been a good day!
I read quite a bit of Bleak House this morning, finally getting somewhere I think. Then I went out for a lovely lunch with a friend from home; the cafe we go to is called 'Jones and Jones', guess which country I'm in...
This afternoon Beth and I hit the Albany Road charity shops to try to find cheap things to decorate the sitting room; we both got a book for 50p, I got Moulin Rouge on DVD, Beth bought a lemon squeezer for her mum, and we got a mini Jenga. So the sitting room didn't too well out of our shop but we were pretty pleased! We did find a mirror to go over the fireplace though, in a shop called Rainbow Bargains, a slightly bizarre discount shop which is in an old church building. We built up our biceps quite well carrying the mirror back home. I popped round to the alley behind our house when we got back to take some pictures - there was some graffiti I took a photo of, but I thought these flowers (buddlia?) livened up the alleyway and won't be there for much longer, so I made the most of it now!
