The ladder men

Another morning at the Irton tree protest near Scarborough and the national papers turned up, 4 days after it started! In a scene straight from Drop The Dead Donkey, the reporters set about getting close to Snoz up the tree for an interview.
So this is the man from the Daily Mail, and his press agency colleague, smartly walking past the villagers with the set of ladders he secured for the scoop!

The ladders weren't tall enough, so a nearby builder brought along his cherry picker (for a consideration I believe..) and lifted the hacks higher.

The process of journalism can be utterly bizarre to do , and witness, sometimes.
