Under the weather

I got a call at lunchtime from daughter #2's school to say that she had a tummy ache and a high temperature. I had to drop everything at work and go and pick her up.
Daughter #1 went round to her friend's house after school and I picked her up at 5.30 . Her friend from junior school (who now goes to a different secondary school) is here for a sleepover so we picked her up on the way home.
I have friends coming over any minute for some cava, bread and cheese.
