Glass Reflections

Another busy, busy day!

Firstly I want to thank everyone for their well wishes for T. Much appreciated!

I loved the reflections here when we arrived and then missed the sunset when we were leaving as the security guard started asking if I had permission to take photos.(I may use Glass Reflections as my Blip name one day.)

Blipped the front of Sunninghill Hospital today as I've spent too much time their this week. Daughter T has not been well and after 1 visit to the GP and 3 visits here we still have an unknown diagnosis. Any way we have tested and ruled out the following infections of liver, bladder, pancreas etc. through 2 ultrasounds and 2 bloodtests. (She has already had her appendix removed in April). Finally the doctors decided on a viral infection and sent her home for bed rest with painkillers. I think I will prescribe bed rest for myself as well!

At least she is starting to feel better. The opposite to my morning when I had BBM (Blackberry) messages saying "Mom, where are you? Its sore! I'm vomiting! I can't eat! My back is sore! I can't drink! I'm hot! I'm cold!
I finished off the urgent work as quickly as I could and went back home to fetch her.

Some of our private hospitals look like hotels and we are very fortunate to have medical aids(insurance) that pay for these services. These medical aids are very expensive but a necessity. The care we receive is top class and we have access to all doctors and procedures of our own choosing. We are spoilt to be so in control of our health choices!

We left the hospital at 5 and are now exhausted and will eat and go to sleep.

The boys, meantime, have set up a camping spot on the dam and will fish all night. They have no cares and love to be outdoors doing boy stuff!

Goodnight and have a wonderful weekend!
