Our neighbor

It's been a while since seeing Javelina in the area. Of course it's been a while since I've been scrambling in the underbrush. My walking path along the river this morning came to an abrupt end so extreme measures were required to escape and a climb up the river bank was riquired. Little did I know it was home to this fellow, a Havelina out doing exactly what I was doing. He/she didn't stay still long and disappeared quickly. They have a temper expecially with young family near. My nephews 100 lb dog was gored by one and nearly died as the result. Have a good Friday all.
