End of an era....

St Ives' last fish shop is closing down so I thought I would take an opportunity to pop in, say goodbye and blip them.

When I was a little girl in Northumberland we used to have a 'fish van' that would come and park up once a week and for some strange reason I used to love going there with my Mum and looking at all the different types of fish.

Am not sure of the exact reasons for the St Ives shop closing but I do think it's a shame that a seaside town wont have ashop like this any longer.

The business is still operating a factory and an online service.

A sign of the times?
