Near Miss....

This hot air balloon on an early morning flight had a near miss with the motorway and the pylons and electricity wires just beyond!

It was still very misty when I pulled over and took this shot.

The balloon and its dozen or so occupants took off again and drifted very low over the motorway and then close to the rooftops of the village beyond.
Lorries and cars were hooting loudly as it rose slowly over them.


I took a few more images as the mist burnt off, which were much better of the balloon itself, but this gave the best view of it's closeness to danger.

I can only asume they knew what they were doing!
