Arrowtown

This is the view from up Tobin's Track of Arrowtown where I am currently staying. Nestled in beside some mountains the town was founded when there was a gold-rush due to the deposits that were found in the river.

It now is a thriving tourist town though locals lament the loss of community that use to be the main focal point of the town due to the increase in rental accommodation and day trippers.

Regardless the town has a certain charm and quaintness to it and the view is breathtaking.
