When my friend K went to France years and years ago, she brought me back the coolest gift ever: this French Magic 8 Ball (apparently called a "Secret Ball" en France). I have a lifelong addiction to coin-flipping, horoscope-consulting, MASH-playing, random-page-reading...basically any means of sparing myself the responsibility of having to make my own decisions.

I'm still grappling with the work-related question from yesterday. It's driving me crazy. So tonight, after hours and hours of debating with everyone I know, making pro/con lists, journalling, etc., I reverted to my old ways and asked the Secret Ball's opinion.

It seems the Secret Ball favors risk-taking and major life changes. Hmmm....
