Hairy-legged invader

This is the huge house spider that has been stomping around the living room for the last few days. This morning it was sitting on the bag I use for work and saying 'go on then....make my day'.

Shortly after taking the photo, I did manage to persuade it into a glass and evict it. I fully expect it to be back after having broken down the front door.

Usual rush at work. Our shipping container arrived today so we should be able to start packing stuff in it so we are ready for the top floor to be closed off for the office refurbishment. Now all we have to do is work out how we can all work on one floor for a month!

Book group tonight - had to confess that I hadn't read the book but it sounds as if I didn't miss much.
