Ditching

Ken spent the day ditching his field. I took lunch out to him and took some pictures of what he was spending his day doing. This fall he hopes to do quite a few days of ditching, cleaning out the drains on the fields so that the water can drain more effectively. Many days of ditching will be well worth the work, come spring when the rains come.
