U Turn
Poor dude. Strode purposefully behind the bike sheds and past my camera lens, happily munching his big bag of onion rings, oblivious to the fact that the route he thought was a shortcut was now in fact a 30ft drop over a fence onto concrete. Ten seconds later and he was walking past again in the opposite direction and setting off up a muddy hill only to slip and fall straight onto his arse. Didn't drop a single onion ring mind you.
Spent the last 40 minutes watching a very good presentation by some bloke off of some website talking about social media. Worth taking a look at, especially the clips of blippers bit. After all the hoo-ha going on over at the 'other' social network yesterday (the end of the world for some it would seem) because of new changes it introduced it's good to hear that there seems little chance of that sort of thing happening on here. Zuckerberg better watch his back.
We had a power-cut late last night. The last time we had one we were scrabbling around for torches and candles but this time we avoided tripping over each other by the cold blue light from MacBook screens, iPhones, iPods and camera LCDs. It looks like the candle's going the way of the 60 watt lightbulb.
Thursday's done, Friday's on my mind.
