Living World

by Ju Ming

Seemed to rain most of the day, but stopped in time for a walk home. Inspired by my successful exploration yesterday, I decided to revisit the Grand Prix circuit. No joy today; locks, keys, and guys with guns! Neither my "I know where I'm going" nor my "bumbling tourist" poses cut any ice.

So, for my blip, I've reverted to the old staple "the Sculptures of Singapore". I pass this little assemblage at least once a week as I walk past the National Museum. I'll admit to being slightly confused about the naming...... the Living World collection is a series of sculpture which has been gradually expanding round the globe since the 1980's but all called "The Living World"; how are you supposed to know which is which? Thinking too much like an engineer again?

You can tell they're gossiping about the passersby (even from behind).
