Monsoons, soup and sisters...

Thought I'd steal today's title from a parallel blogworld. Today dad (a.k.a Grumps) and I took the train up to Edinburgh to celebrate my big sister's new painting exhibition at the http://www.bonpapillon.com/ gallery. It was a great day all told. Much catching up, quality time and good ideas.

I'm so proud of Senja. She's not had the easiest ride over the last few years but today we saw a lady who has emerged better than ever, a true bon papillon if ever there was one.

We'll never know exactly what mum would have made of the whole *marriage-motorbike-tattoo-scenario*, but one thing's for sure, she would have wept with pride and joy to see her little girl looking so stunning and happy against a backdrop of such fabulous paintings.
