Longest Bridge in the World

Quick blip from the middle of Lake Pontchartrain on the world's longest bridge (over water).

It has to be qualified these days as the Chinese have built a longer bridge, but it's not all across water. It also isn't in the line of hurricanes either (or typhoons as they are called over that way).

Quite an amazing bridge, but despite being 23 miles long, it doesn't seem particularly long. But still very odd to be in the middle of a lake, on a bridge, and not being able to see the shoreline behind you, and only a tiny slither of land a long way in the distance.

And this is on a lake!
