Portrait of a brave boy
Callum is recounting the little school bus' journey to the nearby fire station today. "What did you see Callum?" "Fireman climbing the ladder" as his little fingers do the climb. He sat on the big black shiny leather seat, wore the fireman's hat and returned a happy wee fella.
I'm not sure I've switched an image before on Blip, but how could I possibly resist when I turned round to see Reuben like this today. He has perfected this delicious, thoughtful pout, the wisdom in his young years shining through. Anyway, there's been so much talk of Reu of late, it was clearly time for him to show his face.
Early this morning, a courier delivered the details of the mediation, due process and the court case which will now ensue to fight for his education to continue at the place he knows and loves. Speaking to one of the Dads today, it became apparent that lawyers recommend yearly payment plans, thus shining light that this is most likely to be a yearly event for us. The boy you see here has endured a total of a year in hospital, 17 surgeries and comes out reading Cat in the Hat quite beautifully! You wouldn't think he'd have to fight for education, would you?
Happy 3rd birthday, sweet, bright, Gabriel whose birthday we celebrated today at UCLA. More...
PS Thanks to Blip for showing this image exactly as I created it to be. Best large...
