a small victory

Today I had a small victory. Two, in fact.

My first cycle home from work (managing to avoid the rain and most of the big puddles) was in time for tea. And in time to put the wee guy to bed.

If you know me you will know that, in a past job, this was unheard of.

Victory one.

After a two hour tussle and threats that daddy will not be home in time to put him to bed again if he refuses to go to sleep, he finally fell asleep. Wind, rain, a big poo and many other excuses notwithstanding, I won.
