At the beach with Stanley

Tonight I went down to the beach with my friend Stanley, the puppy Jack Russell. We're not allowed on the beach before 7pm so we didn't have much of a play before it started getting dark.

However, we met this big dog called Otto and his owner had a ball and a thrower. I was the speediest and kept getting the ball each time it was thrown. Then Otto had to go home so me & Stanley played at chasing a rubber bone.

I was a little bit mean with Stanley .......................... it was his rubber bone but I got it and I wouldn't give it back. I kept hold of it and went running around the beach with it. Stanley chased me, barking, but I didn't give it back until I'd gone all the way along the beach and back. Hee, hee, hee - I've had lots of fun.

I'm a bit tired now though ........................ it's hard work running faster than a puppy!
