Returning from the tombs

Our 6th day on the yacht travelling around the Turkish coast from Gocek.

Trevor and I had decided to get up early and paddle from the yacht to the island to visit the tombs. The photo shows the 'intrepid explorers' returning to Romy, just in time for breakfast.

Fascinating tombs carved into the hillside. I marvel at how past generations managed to create such wonderful masonary work with meagre tools and their bare hands. I guess where there's a will...
