What Rain?

This shot sort of ignores the torrential rainstorms today (I'm pretty sure I saw sleet in amongst the rain too). Never mind, it was dry for my walk home so that's all that matters. I guess it's hard to deny that winter is creeping ever closer but I think we all should feel a bit cheated at the lack of anything closely (or even remotely) resembling a summer.

As we approach winter though, it seems like tradition to start planning the next year's holidays. It's always nice to have something to look forward to. Currently we are considering an early jaunt somewhere warm to recover from christmas and the new year. Then there's talk of a trip to the states in the summer (probably in the north west for a change), so plenty to stick in the calendar. Now would be a good time to start saving up!
