Quiet staircase...

Spent a quick hour in the Museum of Scotland while passing the time before meeting up with a friend. Seems almost pointless to go for just one hour in such a great place but you can generally go around part of the museum and see things you can plan to come back to see later in more detail. For instance there will be a Pixar animation exhibit on from the start of March so I will be back for that!

One of my favourites is the Egyptian section but like most places it was over run by excited school kids running about on a fact hunting quiz. Heading out by the back staircase I couldn't believe how quiet it was...
