Black Sail Youth Hostel

Black Sail YH at the head of Ennerdale is one of the most remote hostels in England. Today, the route of the 18 mile "4 Passes" LDWA event passed by. This was one of the classic long walks, revived recently and sadly, probably as a one-off. We had a great day out running the 18 miles from Borrowdale to Ennerdale to Buttermere and back to Borrowdale.
