Narita by night

The view from our hotel window in Narita with a Typhoon starting in the background and a train a few metres away! Everything makes a noise in Japan! We arrived excited, we got through passport control and had our finger prints taken and then we crashed, dragged ourselves to our hotel and slept for 5hrs. When we woke up it was dark and we walked to a beautiful temple which was amazing. We then found a great restaurant for our first Japaneese meal and chose at random from a menu. We did well, most of it was nice. Andy had some wierd smoked asparagas and delicious fish and rice. I had dumplings which were great. It feels very surreal to be here!
