Ronnie Browne

We had our Ataxia Branch meeting this afternoon and Ronnie Browne, our patron, came along. Although he has retired now, he still does an amazing amount and always makes the effort to come to our meetings when he can.

Tom and Liz, pictured here with Ronnie, both have late onset cerebellar ataxia. You'd think our meetings would be solemn and miserable but they are quite the opposite - we always have a good laugh and a chat! This time, Tina Thatcher came to talk to us from central Office of AUK about how we can get more people along to our meetings and raise awareness with the medical profession and the general public. Too many people get diagnosed and are not told about the support that is available.
