Port Dougie

Well, here we are in Port Douglas, I love this place - wonderful beach that goes for miles and miles, good shopping, fab cafe's and restaurants and the gateway to other places further north or out to the reef. We have great accommodation, large apartment with a pool straight from out terrace - that was sampled when we arrived at 1pm (a slight lie, a wee drink before hand)

This is how this morning started...... We were away at sparrows fart which was a good call, roads reasonably quiet for some time - its a five hour drive from Townsville to here.

Just settling in to watch the rugby now, then another swim before dinner cooked on the bbq just adjacent......*sigh*
