happy dogs

A haiku, by lenna 9.20.11

walk with the minnows
darting and flashing ahead
the dogs don't see them.

swoosh goes the water
swoosh, whoosh, swoosh against our legs
the sun shines warmly.

A friend saw this haiku when I added it to my creative swaps blog as inspiration for the upcoming haiku ATC swap (Artist Trading Cards). 
He wrote a haiku in response and sent it to me! (see below)
