This will take more than Bob to fix it
I was on the hunt for a jacket today (the rain showers are much more frequent now) but quickly got bored of looking so spent a bit of time watching these guys. They are right in the middle of Buchanan Street, demolishing a small number of buildings, while, very impressively leaving the rest undamaged.
It is always fascinating to watch one man control an implement which could take out everything around it with such finesse. What is a bit odd is that they appear to have left the front facia of the Buchanan Hotel in one piece - I am not sure why, but time will tell (you can just see that in the bottom left hand side of the photo)
Now that the old buildings are gone you can see some of the detail of what was behind them, including a nice turret, which I did not get in the picture.
So I had plans to get a jacket - I failed but got quite a good picture with the old camera phone. I also got wet because it rained - I really should have bought a jacket!
