A thread of an idea
Coffee, of course, two in fact. But I had managed to get my marking all done by then. A few nice girly jobs done with F and then boys were fed and mucho homework done on the slingers of Mallorca. We know how to make a cheap but lethal weapon now. Very handy. Google 'hondas' if you want to know more, and can find it amidst the nonsense about motor vehicles. (The Mallorquin sling-using soldiers were mercenaries for centuries, and not only are their weapons still used here for aiming paint pellets during the Firo, but in skirmishes the world over.)
Little Agu kept Ben and I in stitches for most of the rest of the day with his newly discovered world of the famous pianist, Pablo Gavinchy. So incredible are his talents that the entire family of bears had to come downstairs to reinforce the full family history, tales of poverty and deep philosophy behind his desicion to take up the piano. In fact a new language and country had been invented by tea time. I know where the threads of these ideas come from. It's fascinating to see how he weaves them into his own fantasies.
Big it!
