Clockwork Optic

Apart from a horrific oversleeping this morning, which was frankly terrifying, today was lovely. I made my first print using the lino-cutting method (like woodblock only carving into Lino instead, essentially). That was so satisfying, especially when the side bits of the repeating pattern all lined up. And I got to use a press and get all inky.

Then in the evening I began systematically destroying old and broken wind-up watches for parts. Also incredibly satisfying. A satisfying day, today.
