Colour

Grumbling to myself about posting another grey, dreich shot then I remembered these rather special flowers I got today. Much nicer than the alternative.

Today: the first time I've had to wear gloves this autumn, bought a new brolly and am tucked up in bed after a hot bath before 10.00pm. Positively cosy.

I also learned today that dawn is around half an hour before sunrise and dusk lingers for half an hour after sunset (at least at this time of year). When I stumble over everyday facts like that I always wonder if I'm the last to know. General knowledge is such a personal, idiosyncratic thing, not general at all.
